Your Image is a short cut that is used to inform us about who you are and what you stand for = FIRST IMPRESSION = YOUR PERSONAL BILLBOARD
Your self-image is made up of four parts:
- How you see yourself;
- What others see;
- What you think they see; and
- What you want them to see.
The aim is to have congruency and authenticity.
There are two forms of image: ‘Inner Image’ and ‘Visual Image’.
A: Your Inner Image reflects your: values/experiences/culture/religion/skill base and how you value yourself.
B: Your Visual Image is based on: Clothes + grooming + body language. This is where a trained image consultant like myself assists.
Some studies have shown that 62-90% of your visual impression is based on colour alone.
